Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah got married in an Arya Samaj-style wedding in Delhi on July 4 after five months of dating.
“Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further,” the actress told Bombay Times in an interview.
While Pooja and Nawab knew of each other, sparks flew between them in February this year when they were reintroduced by a common friend.
Pooja and Nawab also had a nikaah in Delhi, their wedding photographers revealed on Instagram.
For their nikaah, Pooja and Nawab wore colour-coordinated ice-blue outfits.
