On the 28th of April, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Indo American Advisory Council is honoring men and women in uniform. During this star studded Gala at the LA Convention Center, Celebrity guest, Pooja Batra will receive an award for her contribution to the South Asian American Community. Pooja has been actively involved with the community for several years and this evening she will lend her time & presence to the hosting of an auction raising funds for the Japan Tsunami Victims. Previous recipients of this honorable award include Ashok Amritraj, Malika Sherawat, Shaym Benegal and Dr. Prem Reddy.
