On the 28th of April, The Los Angeles County Sheriff ’s Indo American Advisory Council is honouring men and women in uniform. During this star studded gala at the LA Convention Centre, Pooja Batra will also receive an award for her contribution to the South Asian American Community. Pooja has been actively involved with the community for several years. We hear that Pooja will also host an auction aimed at raising funds for the Tsunami Victims in Japan. The previous recipients of this award include the likes of Ashok Amritraj, Mallika Sherawat, Shyam Benegal and Dr Prem Reddy.
